Covers for Oven
Protect your Alfa oven from the very worst the British weather can throw at it. Our custom-made covers are crafted in Italy from a technical fabric that offers protection against both atmospheric corrosion and normal wear and tear. The material is waterproof but breathable, with sufficient air passing through to reduce humidity and prevent mould growth.
To increase the lifespan of your oven, we recommend enveloping it with the Alfa cover then sheltering it in a closed space or under a canopy, especially in the winter months.
This cover is designed to fit your Alfa oven perfectly, but won’t cover a nest of table, so is the ideal option for ovens in bespoke outdoor kitchens.

What is the Moderno 1 made from?
The cooking chamber is entirely made of reinforced stainless steel.
The double layer of ceramic fibre insulation used in commercial ovens contains heat and prevents the external frame from overheating.
What do I need to get started?
To bake with the oven, you just need small logs no more than 5 cm (2 in) thick. With 2 kg (4,4 lbs) of firewood you can really cook throughout the evening!
Always use the wood basket so as not to overload the oven with logs and to better manage the food on the floor.
Should I use wood or gas?
Wood has always been the fuel of choice for those who love tradition and strong flavours. It’s the perfect oven if you really like cooking outside and you are not afraid of putting your nose to the grindstone.
Fast and practical, gas ovens are for people who don’t want to waste time and cut to the chase. The best choice to make consistently good pizzas in a hassle-free way.
